I'd like to bring up a problem that I don't really have a solution for.

Rapidshare is fine for full albumes, movies or whatever. I don't mind the annoying 3 minute start wait or the 2 hour wait between downloading movies or albums. The things I have issue with is singles. For instance at the moment I went to download the Lollipop Remix (

and I'm blocked by rapidshare for an hour.

It seems a little ridiculous to be block for an hour for a file less than 10mb in size. Ideally for small files like single mp3s something like sendspace or netload would be fine. Netload has 2 thirty second timers but once you finish downloading you don't have to wait b/w downloads.

It seems like the source of these files is pretty varied so I don't know what we could do to fix/solve this but I'm just throwing out my frustrations anyway.

yeah hate that as well but people seem to use it, maybe cuz they have premium accounts and want to use it, dunno, hopefully there's a way around it.

Rapidshare has it's happy hour, use it while you're at it

i've been getting happy hours on and off for about a month lately. My new annoyance with RS is I can't read the CAPTCHA. It's like a freaking brain teaser tryign to figure out which kittens are standing and which are sitting.

But the new layout of rapidshare changed, do they still have the kittens?

ugh.. new layout is nice.. but now it just says "type the letters with kittens"

they ALL have kittens. some are standing some are sitting and I don't know which ones to use. Not that I can tell the bloody difference. ARRRG.

if not for the happy hours I'd be incredibly frustrated and might even stop trying.
