the mass e-mails are kinda annoying. mostly because they're more or less useless.

My suggestion is simple. How about in addition to the 'unsubscribe' e-mail address you put in the forum addess. That way when I get e-mails like

Yeaa the mass email is annoying too, that's why i have my hotmail filter it so its blocked you should rather bookmark it than have it post links in the mass email, dunno but i usually have all the sites i visit bookmarked into different categories i create, which is neat and simple, and i would delete cookies/history after finishing using the net, so it wont clog up my browser's(firefox) speed.

well I'm sure bookmarks are all fine and dandy but my problem isn't finding the site. I can find the site it's just a waste of inbox w/o the link. for instance I get notifications from everypost i make and just imagine how useless they would be w/o at least a link back to this page.

I think that's a good idea and I'll consider that but i can't do anything with mass email, it's what used for people who register on forums or when they lose their password. And you can stop getting notifications about your posts by changing the setting in your profile by going to the profile link above the page, hope that helps.
